Cheikh Drame has 7 years of combined finance and Strategy experience in the Building Efficiency and Utility space. I am currently the Finance Business Partner to the Chief Customer Officer and his leadership team at National Grid, one of the world’s largest investor-owned utility. In this role, I partner with leaders across Customer Operations (e.g. Distributed Generation Interconnection, Gas & Electric Connection, Distributed Energy Resources, Transportation, Future of Heat, Energy Efficiency, Demand Side Management, Digital Operations & Governance, and U.S. Customer Call Centers) to develop budgets & quarterly rolling forecasts, identify opportunities, as well as risks and mitigation to drive financial performance across the US Business to meet a ~$140M annual Opex budget. Prior to joining National Grid, I was a Senior Strategy Analyst at Johnson Controls where I supported senior members of the Global Strategy & Business Development team in various activities: Microgrid Strategy & Business Development, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Strategic Planning, and Strategy Consulting. Also, collaborated with various North America Sales leaders to identify, define, and track performance against KPIs to drive accountability and create a performance culture across our sales teams.
