A Vision Born from Experience

WeNetworkNow (WNN) was created to address long-standing barriers to professional success within the African diaspora. The organization was founded by Mamady Konneh, who emigrated to Minnesota from Guinea Conakry at the age of 19.

Mr. Konneh realized that navigating the path to success in America required guidance his community lacked. From the complexities of FAFSA to professional networking, the need for a collaborative support system was clear. Inspired to harness the collective knowledge of this vibrant community, WNN was officially launched in January 2020.

Since its inaugural event, which saw attendance from dozens of African professionals representing every region of the continent, WNN has hosted numerous events to uplift immigrants, refugees, and first-generation Americans.
