Mentorship Program 

Our mentorship program is designed to foster networking, information sharing, collaboration, and innovation over a 12-week period. We believe in tailoring the program to the needs of our mentees and leveraging the expertise of our mentors to create a dynamic and enriching experience for all participants. To be consider for tour mentorship program,  one must meet the following requirements:

1. Apply for the mentorship program
2. Go through an interview process
3. Delicate at least 15 hours during the mentorship program
 
Timeline 

Our mentorship program is offered on the first come first served basis – providing flexibility for both mentors and mentees to connect throughout the year. Instead of being limited to specific time frames, mentors and mentees can initiate mentorship connections at any time that suits their schedules and needs.

How to become a mentor?
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in any given field 
  • Good communication and written skills 
  • Demonstrate passion for mentorship
  • Bachelor’s degree required
How to become a mentor?

  • Must be punctual, respectful, and organized
  • Time management skills required
What are the expectations from mentors?
  • Devote a minimum of 15 hours during the mentorship program: Mentors are expected to commit time and effort to support mentees effectively, providing guidance, feedback, and mentorship throughout the 16-week program
  • Respect mentee(s): Treat mentees with professionalism, empathy, and respect, fostering a supportive and positive mentorship relationship.
  • Be punctual and responsive: Respond promptly to mentee inquiries, schedule meetings in advance, and honor commitments to ensure a smooth and productive mentorship experience.
  • Provide support, feedback, and insights: Offer guidance, advice, and constructive feedback to mentees, helping them develop their skills, overcome challenges, and achieve their goals.

What are the expectations from mentees?
  • Be punctual and respectful: Honor scheduled meetings and commitments, showing respect for your mentor’s time and expertise.
  • Proactively develop the mentorship relationship: Take initiative in seeking guidance, asking questions, and driving the mentorship process forward to maximize the value of the mentorship experience.
  • Establish your mentorship goals: Set clear and achievable goals for your mentorship journey, outlining what you hope to learn, accomplish, and gain from the mentorship relationship.
  • Be open to feedback and curious: Embrace feedback as an opportunity for growth and learning, remaining open-minded, curious, and receptive to new ideas, perspectives, and experiences.
