Lauren Brutger is the Community Relations Officer at Lifeworks Services, a nonprofit that partners with people with disabilities. She oversees external engagement and spends most of her time meeting with community leaders to co-create culturally specific programs and advance disability inclusion. While working on these initiatives, she also manages events that scale from small gatherings to large celebrations. Lauren has been involved with the nonprofit sector for 9 years through volunteer work, fundraising, and her current role at Lifeworks Services.
Lauren grew up in central Minnesota and earned her B.A. in Psychology and Peace Studies/Conflict Resolution from the College of Saint Benedict. She spends her free time outdoors hiking, enjoying a cup of coffee on the patio, or getting her hands dirty in the garden.
